Meltem Sozer paints to cultivate well-being through nature love and art. Creating outdoors with natural materials, her paintings are living records of her deep connection to the natural world. Guided by listening and non-verbal communication, she slows the pace of modern life to reconnect with the quiet wisdom of nature, inviting others into spaces where presence, beauty, and well-being flourish.
Using acrylic inks and watercolors, Mel's process is an ongoing conversation with the landscapes she moves through. Back in her studio, she layers and refines each piece, preserving the raw vitality of nature while inviting viewers to connect with nature love — and with themselves. She believes that the more we connect with nature, the more we connect with ourselves — because we are nature.
Her work has been exhibited in the River Arts District and Black Mountain, and collected worldwide. Mel shares her creative process with a global audience through online workshops, her Patreon community, YouTube channel, and Instagram. Whether through original paintings, or teaching, she invites others to slow down, notice the textures of the world, and connect with nature love through art.
With a background in visual arts from the Art Institute in Sunnyvale, California, Mel continues to merge artistic expression with a life deeply rooted in nature love.
